Rock Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. So many exciting things to do at Rock Lake, so little time. Spanish Peak is clearly visible from Rock Lake; not far from Rock Lake you'll stumble on Mud Lake which is a delightful lake. This lake is so wonderful. White Horse Campground is a brilliant local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Finger Board Trail. Hiking is a popular thing       to do around Rock Lake; Cleghorn Bar Trail is a delightful local trail; Best Western Rose Quartz is a perfect place to get some rest. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return back home again. If you came for an overnight stay Bucks Lake Marina is a pleasant place to camp. For the period of the summer highs here at Rock Lake get into the 80's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. Through                  the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Rock Lake tend to be in the 20's. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a perfect time. Some of the water close by flows, like Jacks Meadow Creek, and the Claremont Trail offers hiking at its best. There are other places here than Rock Lake, for example Gold Lake, and there's whitewater on Feather River - North Fork for all you adrenaline kick people.
