Rock Lake is a lake worth visiting. Rock Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Man, is there a load of entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity of Rock Lake. Bowman Mountain is painless to spot from Rock Lake; Bowman Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Don't forget to take a great little trip to Jackson Creek; Rock Lake is right by the Crooked Lakes Trail.

| | Valley here at Rock Lake, and Rock Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Jackson Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground. Rock Lake is a good site of typical rainfall; January is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Poison Canyon is always fun, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Royal Gorge is pretty near.

here, you could also check out scenic Lindsey Lakes. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. After a long day outdoors Chalet View Lodge is a glorious spot to spend a night or two.
All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back time and again. Yuba River - South Fork is a wonderful whitewater spot close to Rock Lake; the skiing at Soda Springs is tremendous.

come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a perfect time. You can run the rapids of Fordyce Creek near Rock Lake, and Deer Creek Inn is a great place to get some rest. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bowman Mountain
Trail; camping at Lindsey Campground is always a glorious experience. At Rock Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Rock Lake overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's.
