Rock Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Rock Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Blake Spring Campground is a nice place to camp; going for a hike on the Blake Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Rock Lake is not far at all from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Filaree Flat are wonderful to check out; why not a little side

You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Coast Ranges has to offer. If you come at the right time of year, Mad River offers some great whitewater, and Slide Creek Campground is a great campground nearby. Rock Lake frequently gets a great deal of rain; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Trinity River | |

- South Fork, and nearby you hit upon the Dan East Trail which is a glorious hiking trail.
Having a great time in the Coast Ranges is uncomplicated. Yellow Jacket Spring is a beautiful place to visit while you're at Rock Lake;
Singleton Butte is a peak you can spot from Rock Lake. You need to go to Little Pilot Rock if you're here at Rock Lake; the Pilot Ridge Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. All through the months of summer highs here at Rock
Lake get into the 60's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 40's for Rock Lake.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges.
