This lake is so wonderful. There's perfect hiking along the Pilot Ridge Trail, and you'll discover a striking lake called Lake Mountain. A trip to Yellow Jacket Spring will fill your soul with tremendous feelings, and the Dan East Trail offers hiking at its best. Lots of people from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna come to Rock Lake. And that's not all the things to do here in the Coast Ranges. From Rock Lake you obtain a splendid sight       of Singleton Butte; lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Guy Lake. Rock Lake is right by the Blake Trail; there are some good whitewater spots on Trinity River - South Fork. Rock Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Slide Creek Campground is a great site to camp, and what would a site like Rock Lake be without out of the ordinary nearby characteristics like Little Pilot                  Rock. Rock Lake is a pretty wet place commonly with a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. All through the summer months here at Rock Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 60's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are generally in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Rock Lake during the wintertime generally plunge into the 40's. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. There's some flowing water nearby, Coyote Creek is a stream you can take a look at while you're here, and why not camp at Blake Spring Campground since you're here at Rock Lake. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges.
