Little Lakes Valley is a great site to spend some time at, and if you need a place to stay Mammoth Creek Inn is a good choice. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rock Creek Lake; Mammoth Rock Trail is a great local trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mono Creek. For the duration of                  the warm months here at Rock Creek Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's.
