Man, is there a load of cool things to do in the vicinity of Robinson Lake. A fine place to camp here at Robinson Lake is Symmes Creek Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Robinson Lake; Pacific Crest Trail - section 11 is a nice local trail. It is very waterless here at Robinson Lake mostly; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most, and the       driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant visit to Onion Valley is a great way to spend an afternoon, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Whitney Trail. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool stuff to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. A stunning lake like Little Pothole Lake right next door to Robinson Lake is a brilliant place to stop at; if you're addicted to cool geologic characteristics try Center Basin Crags.                  This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Sierra Nevada. High temperatures at Robinson Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 90's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Robinson Lake. Camping is available at Fort Independence Campground; do have a look at Slim Lake, it's a pretty lake.
