Lake Ridge is a reasonably wet place typically with lots of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Coast Ranges. Camping at Lake Ridge is splendid fun, Horse Mountain Campground is a splendid local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Country       Inn is a good choice. Be careful coming to Lake Ridge, you might not ever want to return home again. While you're here at Lake Ridge you can take a hike along the Lightning Trail, and Spanish Flat is right here at Lake Ridge. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Lake Ridge get into the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 50's with winter lows in the                  30's overnight here at Lake Ridge. Glide down the rapids of Mattole River in a kayak; Mattole Beach is a beautiful beach to pop by. After a long day outdoors Collingwood Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and while you're here, you could stop at Randall Creek. Lake Ridge is located in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Ridge is a nice place to camp, Tolkan Campground is a nice place; here at Lake Ridge you can see Cooskie Mountain. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Coast Ranges.
