Not far from Rice Lake, you'll come across Granite Lake which is a delightful lake. There is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Rice Lake called the Charity Valley Trail. Lakes are great; Evergreen Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Rice Lake. Rice Lake gets a good deal of water; January is the month that gets the most snow while July is mostly the driest month. So many exciting things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too great to be

| | true. Snow Canyon is a magnificent place to check out right next door to Rice Lake, and Upper Blue Lake Campground is a delightful local campground. Rice Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you love the outdoors, you'll adore Rice Lake. Going for a hike on the Burnside Lake Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and dry warm beds await you at The Meadow. This lake is so wonderful. and Damsite Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Mountain Club is a great place to spend a night or two, and skiing at Bear Valley is one of those things you just have to
do. There's whitewater on Mokelumne River - North Fork for all you adrenaline people; lots of folks from Gardnerville Ranchos come here. Summertime highs at Rice Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight
hours it's typically in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Rice Lake sink into the 10's. All year is a great time in the Northern Sierra
Nevada if you adore the outdoors. Go for a hike on the Emigrant Trail, and you can run the rapids of Carson River - East Fork.
