Canyon Del Rey is near Laguna Del Rey and is a perfect place; there are other places here than Laguna Del Rey, for example Del Monte Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Laguna Del Rey that you need to camp here for a while, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is a wonderful spot for that; if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Salinas. Laguna Del Rey is a good site of normal precipitation;                  throughout January this area sees the most rain while August is ordinarily the driest month. Summertime highs at Laguna Del Rey frequently tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 60's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Laguna Del Rey tend to be in the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Santa Lucia Range.
