Near Lake Reflection you hit upon the Mount Whitney Trail which is a fine hiking trail; here at Lake Reflection you can spot Mount Genevra. Lake Reflection is near Lucys Foot Pass which is unquestionably worth checking out, and if you've had enough of Lake Reflection, North Guard Lake is close by. Campground is a delightful site for that, and The Minster is an exciting site to check out while at Lake Reflection. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a perfect little journey to Ouzel Creek. Lake Reflection is a beautiful
lake in the Southern Sierra Nevada. And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting things to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. There is a great hiking trail near Lake Reflection called the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11; float down the rapids of Kern River in a kayak.

Moose Lake
 | 14 miles away This is a picture I took of Moose Lake on a lengthy loop hike in the Sequoias taking the Lakes trail past Heather, Astor, Emerald, and Pear Lakes; then cross country over the divide above Moose Lake where I took this photograph looking down on the lake. I then returned to the trailhead by going southwest over the divide down to the Alta Trail through Panther Gap back to the Lakes trailhead. A very long day hike.
