     This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Alambique Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Butano State Park is a great place to camp. Summertime highs at Reflection Lake frequently tend to be in the 60's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Reflection Lake sink into the 40's. Alpine  
   Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth going to.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. Dry warm beds await you at Rosewood Sand Hill, and a scenic lake like Knuedler Lake is a splendid location to explore. This lake is one of the great places here in the Santa Cruz Mountains.                CITY/MENLO PARK is a brilliant choice.
Paddling on San Lorenzo River is so much fun, and a nice location to visit is Rodgers Gulch. All year is a perfect time in the Santa Cruz Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Reflection Lake is right by the Coyote Ridge Trail; camping is available at Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Santa Cruz Mountains. On a delightful day you acquire a vista of Burns Chalks from Reflection Lake; do visit Pearsons Pond, it's a gorgeous lake.
If time allows, Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail is a national park worth visiting; Pescadero Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. The amount of rain that falls at Reflection Lake is close to the national average; through January this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is July.
