San Clemente State Beach is a wonderful local campground, and going for a hike on the San Juan Trail is always a good adventure. The Morrow Trail is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Reed Reservoir, and while here here do have a look at nearby Poche Beach. At Reed Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; January is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Horno Creek is a good site to go to. Near Reed Reservoir you find the Clark Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail; since you're here you can play some golf at San Juan Hills Country Club. For
the period of the warmest time of the year at Reed Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime
at Reed Reservoir temperatures fall to the 40's. Man, is there lots of amusing things to do in the vicinity of Reed Reservoir. Coyote Bluff is an attention-grabbing thing to see while you're here at Reed Reservoir, and time spent at San Clemente City Beach is always pleasant.
