If you are traveling by, why not stop by Reed Reservoir. At Reed Reservoir through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Reed Reservoir temperatures descend to the 40's. A pretty lake like Krum Reservoir close to Reed Reservoir is a fine spot to go to, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Clark

| | Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not check out nearby Horno Creek while you're here at Reed Reservoir; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Dana Point Inn-By-The-Sea.
Reed Reservoir is not far at all from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at San Clemente City Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Trabuco Campground is a good campground here, and Coyote Bluff is a magnificent location to stop by while in | |

the area.
Reed Reservoir is regularly a reasonably waterless place; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Best Western Capistrano Inn is a good place to get some
rest; Poche Beach is quite close by if you're in a beach type of mood. Going for a hike along the Morrow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and San Juan Hills Country Club is a golf course nearby.
And if
that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Reed Reservoir. If the weather is perfect here at Reed Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the San Juan Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay San Clemente State Beach is a pleasant site to camp.
