...aff hospitality was A++. The office shares the backside of the local pub and outdoor cafe next to the lake. Very quaint, unfortunately it was about 113 degrees with a fair amount of humidity and we didn't feel very motivated to enjoy the outdoor seating, which was your only option.
The park itself is aging and the wiring is there to prove it. No apparent upgrades were evident. We experienced outages daily and had to rely on our generator, which added about an additional 65 dollars in gas to stay at what was supposed to be a full hookup facility. California gas prices were at $3.59 a gallon. Ouch. While the manager tried to explain there were surges throughout the town, some of the local year-round residents who were hard wired, reported no problems. We had a family staying next to us in an Allegro Bus who really struggled with the electrical issues. Their breaker simply couldn't handle the load. Every time he flipped the breaker back on it interupted our electricity. Several visitors left early because of the heat and unreliability of electrical services throughout th... |
