Red Lake Mountain is clearly visible from Red Lake, and the Bunchgrass Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Southern Cascade Range rules!. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Red Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets       highs in the 40's; night lows in the 10's for Red Lake. If you go for the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Red Lake. Looking for a magnificent journey? Lassen Volcanic National Park is reasonably right next door to Red Lake, and Bunchgrass Campground is a nice campground nearby. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, North Battle Creek Reservoir is one of those nearby; you can stay the night at Mill Creek RV Park. After a long day outdoors Bailey Creek Cottages                  is a great site to spend a night or two, and nearby you hit upon the Chaos Crags Trail which is a great hiking trail. The high level of precipitation makes Red Lake a reasonably wet site; through January this area sees the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Nearby lakes?
