     Summertime at Red Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 30's while Red Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mokelumne River - North Fork, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail. Red Lake is a rather wet place commonly  
   with a great deal of rainfall; the month with most of the snow is January; July meanwhile is the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Upper Blue Lake Campground is a good location to camp, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Burnside Lake Trail. The panorama of scenic Elephants Back near Red Lake is nice; camping is available at Woods Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right
 
               time of year, Carson River - East Fork offers some pleasant whitewater; Carson Pass is also a good spot to discover.
If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Nearby lakes? Sure, Frog Lake is near Red Lake, and dry warm beds await you at The Meadow. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Red Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Kirkwood is right next door to Red Lake, and The Mountain Club is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Sierra at Tahoe is a wonderful local ski area; what would a location like Red Lake be without exciting nearby features like Kit Carson.
What a spot this is for outdoors folks. At Red Lake you always meet someone from Gardnerville Ranchos. Red Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. These mountains rock, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike along the Charity Valley Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, unsurprisingly you could also take a look at Crater Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
