    What a nice lake Rattlesnake Lake is. Rattlesnake Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is June. Summertime highs at Rattlesnake Lake mostly tend to be in the 90's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Rattlesnake Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. This lake is so  
   wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rattlesnake Lake; Red Mountain Trail is a good local trail; camping at Granite Creek Campground is always a fine experience.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River; if you came to camp McCreary Meadow Campground is a pleasant place to do that. Cassidy
 
               Meadows is right here at Rattlesnake Lake, and June Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. The Mammoth Rock Trail offers hiking at its best.
All year is a great time in the Central Sierra Nevada if you fancy the outdoors. A quick journey to Rube Creek right next door to Rattlesnake Lake is a pleasant idea, and glorious skiing awaits you at Sierra Summit. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Rattlesnake Lake, you could also visit charming Alstot Lake, and a glorious close by hotel is Snowbird Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada.
Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things close to Rattlesnake Lake. San Joaquin River - Middle Fork is a glorious whitewater spot near Rattlesnake Lake, and after a long day outdoors Bigwood is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Good hiking is available along the John Muir Trail - section 2, and do pop by Straube Lake, it's a gorgeous lake.
