Rattlesnake Lake is always a pleasure to visit. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back over and over. Canthook Mountain is clearly visible from Rattlesnake Lake, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Crescent City is a splendid choice. Rattlesnake Lake is a location with many visitors from Crescent City North, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Goose Creek. For the duration of the long summer days at

| | Rattlesnake Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 60's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 50's while Rattlesnake Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Rattlesnake Flat, and camping is available at Big Flat Campground. is always a delightful adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Marigold Motel and RV Park is a good site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. There is a brilliant hiking trail right next door to Rattlesnake Lake called
the French Hill Trail, and let's not forget Canthook Creek which is a stream that you may run into while you're here. So many amusing things in the neighborhood of Rattlesnake Lake, truly amazing. The Paradise Trail is a glorious
hiking trail in the vicinity of Rattlesnake Lake; a splendid nearby hotel is Best Western Northwoods Inn. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. A journey to Redwood National and State Parks is worthwhile, and get
soaked paddling on Smith River - South Fork. All the water falling down from the sky makes Rattlesnake Lake a wet location; the month with most of the rain is December while July is generally the driest month.
