When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Ranger Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Camping at Aspen Hollow - Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park is always a perfect experience, and       on a splendid day you can take a hike along the High Sierra Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn & Suites Sequoia Kings Canyon is a magnificent choice. Going for a hike on the Don Cecil Trail is always a good adventure; you can run the rapids of Kaweah River - North Fork. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is a tremendous                  local destination here at Ranger Lake, and Crowley Canyon is another pleasant site to stop by close by. An average amount of rain falls at Ranger Lake; through January this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Just can't get enough of the Southern Sierra Nevada. A stunning lake like Lost Lake near Ranger Lake is a magnificent place to explore, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Sheep Creek Trail. And if that's not enough there's a lot more fun stuff to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Ranger Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Log Bridge Campground is a magnificent local campground, and get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Kaweah River - Middle Fork.
