There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Ralston Lake. Places like Haypress Meadows are perfect to go to, and whitewater paddling is good on American River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Ralston Lake you can see Echo Peak, and the Windmiller Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll discover a stunning lake called Cagwin Lake near Ralston Lake; if you came to camp Sayles       Flat Campground is a perfect location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Sierra at Tahoe. Be careful coming to Ralston Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Do stop at Tamarack Lake near Ralston Lake, it's a lovely lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Ralston Lake; General Creek Trail is a great local trail. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Northern                  Sierra Nevada. One of the best things about Ralston Lake is its proximity to Pope Beach, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Tahoe Paradise Golf Course is nearby. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. The slopes of Kirkwood are so inviting nobody can resist, and a day at Kiva Beach is time well spent. Ralston Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that snows the most while July is usually the driest month. There's so much to do here at Ralston Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fortyfive Mile Campground is a perfect location for that, and there are plenty of folks from Gardnerville Ranchos here at Ralston Lake. You clearly should have a thing about the Northern Sierra Nevada. A good close by hotel is Pine Cone Acre Motel, and do put some time aside to spend at Glen Alpine Spring since you're here at Ralston Lake. Summertime highs at Ralston Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Ralston Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Aspen Creek is a stunning stream that is worth taking a look at, and after a long day outdoors Pistantes Coyote Den is a great place to spend a night or two. Good hiking is available along the Hawley Grade Trail, and paddling on Silver Creek - South Fork is so much fun.   Pine Cone Acre Motel, South Lake Tahoe 5 miles away This 22 unit family resort located just off Highway 89 is nestled among tall pine trees in a quiet, park-like setting, with onsite heated pool, picnic area and playground....
