Rainy Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. While you're here at Rainy Lake it's a glorious idea to stop at Dads Pocket, and if you come at the right time of year, Wooley Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. Rainy Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Sulphur Springs Campground is a delightful local campground, and Rainy Lake is right by the Tanners Peak Trail. | | Lake highs are regularly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Rainy Lake during the winter ordinarily plunge into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Spring Flat Campground is always a pleasant experience, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Garden Gulch Trail. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Klamath Mountains.
