A visit to Rainbow Lake is always a good idea. All through the long summer days at Rainbow Lake highs are generally in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Rainbow Lake are in the 20's. Soar down the rapids of Cottonwood Creek - Middle Fork in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Rainbow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Brandy Creek Campground is a nice site for that.
