Quail Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. During the warm days of summer here at Quail Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Quail Lake are in the 10's. Quail Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. On a pleasant day it's a brilliant idea to spend the day at Calawee Cove Beach;

| | a day on the slopes of Alpine Meadows is just what you need.
So much exciting stuff to do here at Quail Lake, too tremendous to be true. Quail Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, General Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground. Homewood Canyon is a magnificent spot to spend some time at, and camping at Bear Creek Campground is always a glorious experience. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. | |

Head up to Homewood and strap some skis to your feet, and dry warm beds await you at Granlibakken Resort.
So much amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too pleasant to be true. If you want to hit the beach,
Lester Beach is in the vicinity, and close by you find the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14 which is a wonderful hiking trail. Going for a hike on the Big Spring Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and since you're here you have
to take a look at McKinney Bay. After a long day outdoors Meeks Bay Resort And Marina is a nice location to spend a night or two, and there's whitewater on Silver Creek - South Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
This lake
is so wonderful. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Quail Lake called the General Creek Trail, and Lake Louise is a great lake nearby. The annual rain here at Quail Lake is about average; the month of January is the wettest with
most of the snow, and July is when it's the driest. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll fancy Quail Lake. Take a side visit to Blackwood Creek, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend American River - South Fork.
