The Sierra Madre is great! Econo Lodge Gorman is a glorious location to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Castac Lake is in the vicinity. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Sierra Madre has to offer. On a glorious day at Quail Lake you can take a hike along the White Mountain Trail. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites       FRAZIER PARK is a great location to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Pyramid Lake Campground and RV is a splendid place to do that. Quail Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sierra Madre. This lake is so wonderful. A great site for whitewater paddling close to Quail Lake is Piru Creek; Pyramid Lake is a brilliant lake nearby. Quail Lake is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; February is the wettest month with most rain while July is frequently the driest                  month. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Quail Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Quail Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Camping at Quail Canyon Campground is always a magnificent experience; since you're here you can take a hike along the Snowy Creek Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Quail Lake.
