Piru Creek has a nice 15-mile-in-length type IV whitewater bit nearby, the Pyramid Lake to Lake Piru sector. This sector of Piru Creek is nice for those with some whitewater kayaking and rafting knowledge. Don't go whitewater kayaking     and rafting ahead of first checking current conditions; it's hazardous matter.
