You have to go to Nugget Point when you're here at Pyramid Lake, and you can run the rapids of Piru Creek. All the outdoors entertaining things right next door to Pyramid Lake will keep you coming back persistently. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Beartrap Spring, and Elderberry Forebay is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Having a nice time at Pyramid       Lake is painless. Camping at Tumble Inn Campground is always a pleasant experience; Beartrap Canyon is also a fine site to look at. Pyramid Lake gets very little precipitation; February is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the summertime months here at Pyramid Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. High temperatures                  during the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Pyramid Lake are in the 30's. Pyramid Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sierra Madre. This lake is so wonderful. Near Pyramid Lake you stumble on the Pothole Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Frenchmans Flat is a great spot here at Pyramid Lake. If you came to camp Los Alamos Campground is a brilliant spot to do that, and Best Rest Inn Lebec Frazier is a nice site to get some rest. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Sierra Madre. The Canton Canyon Trail is a great hiking trail close to Pyramid Lake, and if you're here, you could also visit wonderful Quail Lake. On a beautiful day you acquire a panorama of Pyramid Rock from Pyramid Lake, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Bailey Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
