Pyramid Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Pothole Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Los Alamos Campground is a brilliant place to camp. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Sierra Madre. A pleasant visit to Frenchmans Flat is a great way to spend an afternoon, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pyramid Lake; Bailey Trail is a brilliant local trail.

| | Summertime highs at Pyramid Lake generally tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Pyramid Lake are in the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Piru Creek, and Tumble Inn Campground is a fine local campground. Pyramid Lake is located in the Sierra Madre. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Sierra Madre. | |

Why not take a refreshing hike along the Canton Canyon Trail, and dry warm beds await you
at Econo Lodge Gorman. A spree to nearby Nugget Point is very relaxing, and if you need a place to stay Best Rest Inn Lebec Frazier is a fine choice.
All the outdoors exciting stuff in the neighborhood of Pyramid Lake will keep
you coming back repeatedly. Float down the rapids of Piru Creek in a kayak, and at Pyramid Lake you can catch a sight of Pyramid Rock. It is very arid here at Pyramid Lake ordinarily; February is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
