California has many beautiful lakes and Preston Lake is one of them. Glide down the rapids of Big Sulphur Creek in a kayak, and Cloverdale Oaks Inn is a magnificent place to get some rest. Preston Lake is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Preston Lake reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Preston Lake. A fine spot like Oat Valley here at Preston Lake is too great to miss; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Cadd Fire Trail. Preston Lake is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Cloverdale RV Park is a magnificent spot to camp nearby; some nearby water includes Ash Creek. All the water falling down from
the sky makes Preston Lake a wet location; the wettest month of the year is regularly January, that's the one that rains the most; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Clearlake come to Preston Lake; if you need a location to stay Best Western Cloverdale Inn is a magnificent choice.
