Summertime at Precipice Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 40's while Precipice Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Get drenched paddling on Kaweah River - Middle Fork, and Kaweah Gap is positively a great location to pop by. Eagle Scout Peak is clearly visible from Precipice       Lake; why not camp at Cold Spring Campground if you're here at Precipice Lake. All year is a good time in the Southern Sierra Nevada if you fancy the outdoors. If the weather is splendid here at Precipice Lake, you can go for a hike along the Sawtooth Pass Trail, and you'll locate a delightful lake called Hamilton Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Precipice Lake. The High Sierra Trail is a great hiking trail close to Precipice Lake; whitewater paddling is nice on Kern River. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail near Precipice Lake called the Atwell Hockett Trail, and camping at Precipice Lake is perfect fun, Atwell Mill Campground is a perfect local campground.
