This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant site next to Powena Reservoir is Aberdeen Canyon; pretty scenery and splendid skiing is what you acquire at Mt Waterman. Powena Reservoir is generally a pretty dry place; most of the rain falls through February, and the driest month       of the year is June. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Powena Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Plasse's Resort at Silver Lake, and don't leave Powena Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Oak Spring Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area next to Powena Reservoir has to offer. Going for a hike on the Stone Canyon Trail is always a glorious adventure; there are plenty of people from Los                  Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana here.
