This lake is one of the great places here in the Warner Mountains. Summertime at Porter Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Porter Reservoir through the winter commonly sink into the 10's. Have a great hiking adventure along the Pine Creek Trail; Porter Reservoir is not the only place close       by, Patterson Lake is a close by lake. Porter Reservoir is pretty dried out generally; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking along the Owl Creek Trail is delightful fun; don’t forget to stop at Tom Lee Meadows if you're here at Porter Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Poison Flat Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this                  vicinity, and at Porter Reservoir you can see Warner Mountains.
