A visit to Porter Reservoir is always a good idea. For the duration of the summertime at Porter Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Porter Reservoir. Porter Reservoir is pretty dried up generally; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.

| | So many cool things to do in the Warner Mountains, not enough time. Near Porter Reservoir you locate the Poison Flat Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail; Tom Lee Meadows is a great location.
On a wonderful day you get a view of Warner Mountains from Porter Reservoir, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Owl Creek Trail. If you came to camp Stough Campground is a fine site to do that, and the dominant characteristic in the area | |

is the Warner Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The Pine Creek Trail is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Porter Reservoir, and Porter Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Pass Campground is a nice
local campground.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Warner Mountains. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Porter Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Alturas is a glorious place to spend a night or two.
