And that's not all you can do here at Porter Reservoir. The Owl Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Porter Reservoir; Pine Creek Trail is a splendid local trail. It is very dried up here at Porter Reservoir frequently; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Fern Spring Canyon is a tremendous place to go to       nearby, and a splendid place to camp here at Porter Reservoir is Cedar Pass Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Pine Creek Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Alturas. This lake is located in the wonderful Warner Mountains. Porter Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Sully's Trailer Lodge is a wonderful local campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Trailside                  Inn is a delightful site to spend a night or two. All year is a splendid time in the Warner Mountains if you go for the outdoors. While you're here at Porter Reservoir, you could also explore beautiful Porter Reservoir, and Porter Reservoir is right by the Poison Flat Trail.
