This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Owl Creek Trail; after a long day outdoors Best Western Trailside Inn is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Porter Reservoir gets very little precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
