Poore Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more cool things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Have a great hiking adventure along the Silver King Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Poore Lake is right by the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail; a lake close by is Tule Lake. For the period of the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 80's at Poore Lake while night lows are frequently in the 50's. Hiking along the Lost Canyon Trail is wonderful fun, and
paddling on West Walker River is so much fun. It's a magnificent idea to take a look at Leavitt Creek, it's near Poore Lake, and a pleasant place to camp here at Poore Lake is Leavitt Meadows Campground. At Poore Lake you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls during January; July is when it's the driest.
