Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pond Two; Pacific Crest Trail - section 8 is a wonderful local trail. There's so much to do here at Pond Two that you need to camp here for a while, Ranch Inn Mobile Home Park is a good site for that. Pond Two gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls through January while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. SpringHill Suites Lancaster       Palmdale is a great site to get some rest. If you came to camp Del Sur Gardens Trailer Park is a splendid site to do that, and a fine nearby hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites. During the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Pond Two with nighttime lows in the 60's.
