Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do in the Warner Mountains. After a long day outdoors Budget Inn - Lakeview is a good spot to spend a night or two; one of the dominant marks of the surroundings of Poison Lake is       Mount Vida. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Poison Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 30's, and night lows during the wintertime for Poison Lake tend to be in the 10's. So much fun stuff to do here in the Warner Mountains, too nice to be true. Poison Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Cave Lake Campground                  is a wonderful local campground; a great place to camp here at Poison Lake is Larry Flat Campground. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Poison Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Skyline Motor Lodge, and you can go for a hike on the Crane Mountain National Recreation Trail. Around Poison Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the snow falls through December, and July on the other hand is the driest. Going for a hike on the Highgrade Trail is always a glorious adventure; a journey to Highgrade Spring will fill your spirit with magnificent feelings. This lake is so wonderful.
