    A visit to Plum Valley Reservoir is always a good idea. Go for a hike on the Bunchgrass Trail. There's so much to do here at Plum Valley Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Sandy Campground is a pleasant site for that. This place, the Southern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors fun things. Since you're here at Plum Valley Reservoir why not visit Plum Valley, and if you came to camp Rocky Campground is a great location to do that.
For the period
 
   of the summertime, highs generally are in the 90's at Plum Valley Reservoir. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Plum Valley Reservoir. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Southern Cascade Range. Good hiking is available along the Chaos Crags Trail; the vistas at Lassen Volcanic National Park will blow your mind. Plum Valley Reservoir  
               is located in the Southern Cascade Range.
This location is unbeatable, just check out all the fun stuff to do close to Plum Valley Reservoir. You're probably keen on lakes, Mud Lake is one of those close by. Lakes are good; Grassy Lake is a lake that's close to Plum Valley Reservoir. Plum Valley Reservoir is a location that is quite waterless regularly; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Plum Valley Reservoir; Pacific Crest Trail - section 16 is a splendid local trail, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pit River.

A 4 1/2 star golf course is about 30 minutes in Fall River Mills. The north entrance of Lassen National Park is a short 20 minute drive and Subway Cave, a volcanic formed tube , is a 5 minute drive. Another attraction to this area is the Thousand Lake Wilderness area, hiking and beautiful scenery are part of the experience in this remote wilderness area. If you aren't up to all these activities you can just relax here in the park, watching the ducks in the lake and the fish jumping or fish for our trophy rainbow trout with barbless flies or barbless singe hook spinners. Our lake Catherine is catch and release only.

All of our RV sites are full hookups, which include water, sewer, electric, cable and 2 hours of free wi-fi. We have a rec-hall for our guests to gather for groups or family gatherings. There is a nice area that has picnic tables for gatherings with a large BBQ for our guests to use.
