Be careful coming to the Klamath Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Oak Bottom Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Wooley Creek. High temperatures at Pleasant Lake during the summer months are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and through the dark hours in the       wintertime at Pleasant Lake temperatures dip to the 30's. Yeah, come up here to the Klamath Mountains for a great time. Buns Basin is a great site to check out, and Medicine Mountain can be seen from Pleasant Lake. Pleasant Lake gets a lot of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Near Pleasant Lake you discover the Tanners Peak Trail which is a splendid hiking                  trail, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Smith Fork. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Sulphur Springs Campground is a wonderful site to camp; Klamath River is a delightful whitewater spot close by. The Klamath Mountains scenery is always beautiful. A lake nearby is Deadman Lake. Just can't get enough of Pleasant Lake. A visit to Oregon Caves National Monument is worthwhile, and Cuddihy Valley is also a great location to explore. If the weather is pleasant here at Pleasant Lake, you can go for a hike along the Garden Gulch Trail, and Pleasant Lake is not the only place nearby, Hooligan Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful.
