The beauty of Pit Four Reservoir attracts many people from all around. A pleasant place to camp here at Pit Four Reservoir is Deep Creek Campground, and a short trip to Mud Spring is always worthwhile. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Pit Four Reservoir get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are commonly in the 40's while Pit Four Reservoir night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. Pit

This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Redding come to Pit Four Reservoir, and why not camp at Rim Campground while you're here at Pit Four Reservoir. paradise. The Rough and Ready Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in the vicinity of Pit Four Reservoir, and swing by Poison Creek it's a splendid location to check out.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Southern
Cascade Range. If the weather is magnificent here at Pit Four Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Coal Mine Trail. So many exciting things to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not enough time. Pit Four Dam is an interesting
thing to check out, and going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 17 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. A tour to Malinda Gulch is always fun; Pit River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby.
