Why not stop by Pit 7 Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. Pit 7 Reservoir is a wet site that gets a lot of rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while July is regularly the driest month. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Southern Cascade Range. Fenders Flat is right here at Pit 7 Reservoir, and Pit 7 Reservoir is right by the Pacific Crest Trail - section 17. | | dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on McCloud River, and Pit 7 Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Madrone Campground is a great local campground.

Mountain is easily seen from Pit 7 Reservoir.
This place, the Southern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Here at Pit 7 Reservoir there are plenty of folks from Redding; why not take a refreshing hike along the Nelson
Flat Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dunsmuir Travelodge is a pleasant place to get some rest. Summertime highs at Pit 7 Reservoir ordinarily tend to be in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 40's. Through the wintertime
this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows at Pit 7 Reservoir through the wintertime typically drop into the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Arbuckle Flat Campground is always a splendid experience, and hiking along the Rough and Ready Trail is glorious fun.
