A day on the slopes of Dodge Ridge is just what you need, and Pine Mountain Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Mountain Lake Assn is a pleasant local campground. Ridge Trail; the peak of Jones Hill can be made out from Pine Mountain Lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do near Pine Mountain Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Pine Mountain Lake, and all through
the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Pine Mountain Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. If only every site had this much outdoors fun
things, what a great earth it would be. If you're here, you might as well explore Long Gulch, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Priest Reservoir is just a very short distance away. You're sure to bump into some
great folks from Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge here, and camping at Berkeley Tuolumne Family Camp is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. Second Garrotte Basin is a splendid site here at Pine Mountain Lake, and after a
long day outdoors Best Western Sonora Oaks is a delightful site to spend a night or two. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Pine Mountain Lake; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest of the months is July.

 | 13 miles away Go to the back side by where the river runs in... MURDER the trout on that end. Yes they do stock but it depends on what side of the lake you go to. If you have a 4x4 and a forest service map you can get to the good spots....Absolutely beautiful view, but there are thousands of mosquitoes, bring bug spray...I was at the lake yesterday and no luck the water level is to high and don't think they stoked this year due to funds.... |
