Pine Grove Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Moonshine Campground is a wonderful local campground, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Nevada County Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Near Pine Grove Reservoir you hit upon tremendous places like Jones Bar, and lakes are such calm locations, why not stop by New Bullards Bar Reservoir. But       wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Lodge Grass Valley, and a day at beautiful Pine Island Beach in the neighborhood of Pine Grove Reservoir is a good thing to do. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Pine Grove Reservoir. A quick spree to Little Shady Creek next to Pine Grove Reservoir is a good idea, and get soaked paddling on Yuba River. This lake is so wonderful. The Halls                  Ranch Trail is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Pine Grove Reservoir; paddling on Yuba River - South Fork is so much fun. While you're here at Pine Grove Reservoir you can take a hike along the South Yuba Trail, and camping at Hornswaggle Group Campground is always a great experience. Having a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is simple. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Pine Grove Reservoir are in the 20's.
