This lake is so wonderful. A delightful spot like Furnace Flat here at Phoenix Lake is too pleasant to miss, and lots of people from Truckee-Grass Valley come here. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express TRUCKEE, and of course, this is a delightful area for folks who like lakes, Baltimore Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. Sure, Wagon Wheel Lake is just a very short distance away. On a pretty day you get a sight of Fordyce Summit from Phoenix Lake. All through the long summer days highs here at Phoenix Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it
dips down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Phoenix Lake are in the 20's. A large amount of precipitation falls at Phoenix Lake; throughout January this area sees the most rain while July is frequently the driest month. Phoenix Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
