    Go to Phoenix Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. The Glacier Lakes Trail is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Phoenix Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Shinneyboo Creek Cabin Resort is a wonderful choice. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Phoenix Lake. If the weather is beautiful, you acquire a good panorama of Fordyce Summit from Phoenix Lake. There's so much to do here at Phoenix Lake that you need  
   to camp here for a while, Sterling Lake Campground is a perfect location for that. During your visit to Phoenix Lake you'll meet some people from Truckee-Grass Valley for sure.
This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Soda Springs, and Fordyce Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There is a delightful hiking trail near Phoenix Lake called the Loch Leven Trail, and wonderful skiing
 
               awaits you at Royal Gorge. Summer at Phoenix Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Phoenix Lake plunge into the 20's.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Phoenix Lake a wet site; through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. You'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Baltimore Lake near Phoenix Lake; Furnace Flat is a good site to check out.
Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna return home again. If the weather is glorious here at Phoenix Lake, you can go for a hike along the Glacier Lakes Trail, and if you came to camp Indian Springs Campground is a good place to do that. That right there is a load of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - South Fork, and Hoyfjellet Lodge is a fine spot to get some rest.
