Los Penasquitos Lagoon is a nice lake to visit. At Los Penasquitos Lagoon you always meet someone from San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos; Carmel Valley is a good place to check out. Los Penasquitos Lagoon is pretty waterless frequently; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that rains the most while July is frequently the driest month. lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Los Penasquitos Creek, and Surf and Turf RV Park is a brilliant campground nearby.
