    Pelican Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. All through the summertime highs here at Pelican Lake get into the 90's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 50's, and overnight lows during the winter for Pelican Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Jess Lakes is close to Pelican Lake, and camping at Mojave Narrow Regional Park  
   is always a brilliant experience.
A glorious close by hotel is Howard Johnson Express Inn Of Victorville, and if you wish for a little side visit, try Apple Valley. Looking for some flowing water? Try Desert Knolls Wash, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a glorious location to spend a night or two. Pelican Lake gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly February, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest
 
               month is June.
Have a great hiking adventure along the Miller Canyon Trail, of course you could also go to Horseshoe Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Pelican Lake. A great site to camp here at Pelican Lake is Victorville Koa Kampground, and going for a hike along the Cable Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. For you golfers we recommend nearby Green Tree Golf Course; do take a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 6.
