Camping is available at Glen Campground; if you haven’t been to Muir Woods National Monument, you should schedule some time for it while you're here. Throughout the months of summer at Pelican Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Pelican Lake. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Pelican Lake. The high level of rainfall

| | makes Pelican Lake a relatively wet site; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Four Points By Sheraton San Rafael; why not camp at Lower Campground since you're here at Pelican Lake. Palomarin Beach is next to Pelican Lake and is a scenic beach to explore, and Alamere Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pelican Lake; Lake Ranch Trail is a perfect local trail; Mill Valley Inn is a delightful site to get some rest. The Wildcat Trail offers hiking at its best, and
why not visit Abalone Point also if you're here. This place, Pelican Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors exciting stuff. A day at striking Wildcat Beach in the neighborhood of Pelican Lake is a great thing to do, and there are
other places here than Pelican Lake, for example Crystal Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bolema Trail; a good place to pop by is Cottinham Gulch. Bass Lake is a great lake near Pelican Lake, and Alamere Falls is a splendid local attraction.
