Hiking along the San Ysidro Trail is tremendous fun, and the scenery at Ortega Dam is pretty. This lake is so wonderful. Channel Islands National Park is a pleasant local destination here at Park Lane Reservoir, and a fine site is                  Romero Canyon. Summertime highs at Park Lane Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 60's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Park Lane Reservoir descend into the 30's. So much entertaining stuff next to Park Lane Reservoir, clearly unbelievable. Blue Canyon Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Romero Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Cottam Campground is a pleasant site to camp, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Cold Spring Trail.
