This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Yuba River - South Fork is a good whitewater spot close to Paradise Lake; a brilliant close by hotel is The Inn At Truckee. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Boreal is just what you need, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fordyce Creek. Now, you       may imagine that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Paradise Lake. Here at Paradise Lake you can observe Basin Peak, and Van Norden Campground is a delightful local campground. A gorgeous lake like Devils Oven Lake right next door to Paradise Lake is a good spot to visit; Paradise Lake is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Independence Lake Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby. Round Valley is a pleasant place                  to stretch your legs a bit, and you'll find a stunning lake called Warren Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too delightful to be true. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Soda Springs is in the neighborhood of Paradise Lake, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Warren Lake Trail. Man, is there heaps of cool things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike on the Lola Montez Trail is always a perfect adventure, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Truckee, Ca is a fine choice. Near Paradise Lake you find the Mount Lola Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Paradise Lake is a wet location that gets a great deal of precipitation; January is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month. During the warmest time of the year at Paradise Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
