This place, Papoose Lake, it truly has so much outdoors cool stuff. Salmon River - South Fork has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Deacon Lee Trail. | | you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area while you're here at Papoose Lake. There's so much to do here at Papoose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ripstein Campground is a great site for that. uncomplicated to spot from Papoose Lake. And that's not all you can do here in the Klamath Mountains. If you came to camp Hobo Gulch Campground is a brilliant place to do that. During the days of summer highs here at Papoose Lake
reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's with temperatures at Papoose Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. This lake
is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. Lois Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and do take a hike on the Tanners Peak Trail.
