Papoose Lake is a lake worth visiting. Papoose Lake is pretty dry ordinarily; most of the rain falls through February while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Papoose Lake is located in the San Bernardino Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to visit Eagle Point since you're here at Papoose Lake, and hey, Fern Creek is a fine local stream. | | Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Papoose Lake descend into the 20's. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Papoose Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Lake Arrowhead Chalets; hiking is a popular thing to do around Papoose Lake; Fredalba Trail is a great local trail. | |

The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Snow Valley, and glorious hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 6. This lake is so wonderful. From Papoose Lake you get a magnificent panorama of
Mount Sorenson, and if time allows, Mojave National Preserve is a national park worth visiting. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the San Bernardino Mountains. Stay the night at Toll
Road Campground, and Kuffel Canyon is another magnificent location to explore close by. Papoose Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Dogwood Campground is a good spot to camp nearby; if you're here at Papoose Lake
it's a magnificent idea to go to Ash Meadows. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the San Bernardino Mountains. Looking for something close to Papoose Lake? Grass Valley Lake is close at hand, and the McKinley Firebreak
offers hiking at its best. Lakeview Lodge is a great site to get some rest; the cheerful people of Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario like to hang out nearby. Be careful coming to Papoose Lake, you might not ever want to return
home again. The snow is splendid at Snow Summit, and Papoose Lake is not the only place nearby, Lake Arrowhead is a nearby lake.
