Rock Trail; Tully Hole is a brilliant spot to stretch your legs a bit. Papoose Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling next to Papoose Lake is San Joaquin River -
South Fork, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mammoth Mountain is quite near. This lake is so wonderful. There are fine locations to discover along the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and Vermilion Campground is a pleasant campground nearby.
Man, is there a load of entertaining things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Upper Vermillion Campground is a glorious local campground, and a pleasant site is Goodale Pass. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful locations,
