At Panhandle Lake you don’t see much rain; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest. The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. The Panhandle Hills here at Panhandle Lake makes the scenery here delightful, and Merrill Motel is a great spot to get some rest. Dry warm beds await you at Golden Eagle Motel; Bonita Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. This place, the Southern       Cascade Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. The summit of Panhandle Hills can be seen from Panhandle Lake, and Indian Well Campground is a brilliant campground here. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Panhandle Lake is unbeatable!. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Lava Beds National Monument since you're here at Panhandle Lake, and you can stay the night at Shady Lanes Trailer Park. At Panhandle Lake through the warm days                  of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's.
