If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Palisades Reservoir. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Palisades Reservoir called the Morrow Trail. There's so much to do here at Palisades Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, San Clemente State Beach is a brilliant site for that. You're sure to run into some friendly people from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana here, and of course Horno Creek is a charming stream

This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Trabuco Campground is a great location to do that, and going for a hike on the San Juan Trail is always a brilliant adventure. have a look at Coyote Bluff. Not much rainfall falls here at Palisades Reservoir; January is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is July.
Man, is there a load of enjoyable stuff to do near Palisades Reservoir.
Don't forget to explore Capistrano Bight while you're here at Palisades Reservoir, and Best Western Dana Point Inn-By-The-Sea is a tremendous location to get some rest. Spend the day on the beach at Poche Beach since you're here at
Palisades Reservoir; Deep Canyon is a great place to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Do pop by Krum Reservoir near Palisades Reservoir, it's a picturesque lake, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Clark Trail.
Summertime highs at Palisades Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are usually in the 60's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Palisades Reservoir
sink into the 40's. San Juan Hills Country Club is a good golf course nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Capistrano Beach Resort.
