Reservoir gets very little rain; all through January this area sees the most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Chaparral
Campground, and going for a hike on the Balconies Trail is always a good adventure. There's so much to do here at Paicines Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Chalone Annex Campground is a magnificent place for that, and an afternoon playing golf at Bolado Park Golf Club is always a joy.

Neither peak is accessible by an automobile, which means that nobody can ''pick you up'' there, unless they do it in a helicopter.
